<br />menu should have been $1,840.00 with taxes amounting to E50.60 for her auto. The household taxes were assessed
<br />· o both Mrs. Faison and her husband,Richard W. F~ison.
<br /> The taxpayer has paid the orzginal tax notice of $58.85 as evidenced by her
<br />receipted tax bill #4727. As this is definitely a~ overpayment of $8.~5, we sincerely request that a refund in

<br />not covered by Civil Service, that additional benefits should he given such employees relative to paid holidays
<br /> Now, Therefore, be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, tb~t Article
<br />II, Section 2-35 of the Charter and Code of the City of PortsmOuth he amended, re-enacted, and enacted in re -
<br />gard to paid holidays, as follows:
<br /> The folI~wing days a~e desiguaated as legal holidays for all employees ,of the City, ex-
<br />cept policemen and firemen and those engaged in such e~ployment as necessarily require their daily services,and
<br />for all state Officers performing duties for t~e City: New Year's Day, February 2~nd, National Memorial Day,
