<br />Council that the City of Portsmouth recommend ~o the State Department of Highways that the plan marked 'D and
<br />B' as prepared by the Department of ~ahlic Works, which jis a combination of the State Department ~of.Highways
<br />plans marked individually ~D and B', which has Washington St. relocated elevated over the Interstate Highway,
<br />as our first choice for the handlin~ of this intersection and the plan marked 'A-2', which has the Interstate
<br />Highway elevated over Washington St., relocated as the City's second choice."

<br /> certified copy of a Resolution unanimously adopted on January ~6, 1960, urging the Governor and the General As-
<br /> sembly of Virginia to restore ~o the operating budget of the Norfolk.Division of the College of William and Mary
<br /> in Virginia the funds r~commended to he eliminated therefrom.
