<br />Mr. Ki~gore presented the following petition:

<br /> "We understand that an ordinance will co.me before your body on second reading at the
<br />meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 1961; said ordinance to provide for limitation to one way traffic in a nartherlyl
<br />direction on Mt. Vernon Avenue between Frederick Boulevard and High St.
<br /> It has .been our experience that s preponderance of our customers use Mt. Vernon Ave.
<br />in a southerly direction from High St. to reach Mid City Shopping Center.
<br /> We ask that the ordinance involved not be enacted until Hamilton Ave. has become an
<br />improved ~wo way thoroughfare. Until this is accomplished traffic from High St. may reach th~ Center only by
<br />the use of Route 5S, which is already operating at its capacity.
