<br />I am inclosing herewith a copy of th~ Abstract of Votes cast for members of the City Council of the City of
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia in the Councilmanic General Election held in the said City on June 12, 1962.
<br /> It will appear from the Abstract that George D. Eastes, C. S. 'Sam' Atkinson, and
<br />John L. Dillon 'Nick", received the highest number of vones cast in the said election and are, therefore elected
<br />to the City Council for the City of Portsmouth."
