possible between the holders of the Code all costs incident to publication and distribution of such supplement. <br />Sale of such supplements shall conform in all respects to the procedure for sale of the Code as established in <br />Section 1 hereof. <br /> ~J The following officials, employees and offices shall be furnished copies of the Code <br />as indicated, for use in performance of tkeir<official dutiles, and such ~O~ies shall be turned over to the <br />successors in office of the persons holding same: <br /> <br />Mayor's Office <br />City Councilmen (one each) <br />Judges and Clerks of the following <br /> courts (one each) <br />~Con~t of Hustings for the City of <br /> Portsmouth <br />Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth <br />Municipal Court <br />Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court <br />Court Room , Court of Hustings for the <br /> City of Portsmouth <br />City Treasurer <br />City Sergeant <br />Commissioner of the Revenue <br />High Constable <br />School Board of the City of Portsmouth <br />Portsmouth Public Library <br />Portsmouth-Norfolk County Bar Association <br /> Law Library <br />Virginia Municipal League <br />City Manager <br />City Clerk <br />City Auditor <br />City Attorney <br />Director of Public Works <br />Building Official <br />Electrical Inspector ' <br />Planning Commission <br />City Assessor <br />Superintendent, Water Department <br />Chief of the Fire Department <br />Chief of the Police Department <br />Director of Public Health <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />2 <br />2 <br />2 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />3 <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> The City Manager may from time to time authorize issuance of copies of the Code to any <br />other official, employee or office whose duties may require possession of the Code." <br /> <br /> 62-199 - "I submit the ~ttached ordinance and recommend it be placed on first reading. <br />This appropriates $2,500.00 from the General Fund for the Board of Equalization covering salaries and expenses. <br />This provides for three members on the Board serving for a period of twenty days, and the necessary clerical help <br /> <br />dissenting vote: <br /> <br />On motion of Mr. Knight, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, without <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $2,500.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO PAY THE <br />SALARIES ANDEXPENSES OF THE 1962 BOARD OF EQUALIZATION OF REAL ESTATE <br />ASSESSMENTS." <br /> <br /> 62-200 - "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend it be placed on:first reading. <br />This ~mends Section 2-67 of the Portsmouth City Code 1961 to increase the Advisory Board of the Recreation and <br />Parks Commission to seven members." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Leary, the attached ordinance was approved on first reading, without <br /> <br />dissenting vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2-67 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1961, TO INCREASE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ADVISORY BOARD OF <br />RECREATION AND PARKS TO SEVEN MEMBERS." <br /> <br /> 62-201 - "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend that it be placed on first reading.. <br />This amends Section 2-70 of the Portsmouth City Code of 1961 to provide for monthly meetings of the Recreation <br />Board." ~ <br /> On ~otion of Mr. Dillon~ the following ordinance was approved on first reading: <br /> <br /> ";2{ ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2-~0 OF THE.CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br /> VIRGINIA, 1961, TO PROVIDE FOR MONTHLY MEETINGS OF THE ADVISORY BOARD OF <br /> i RECREATION AND ~PARKS.' <br /> <br /> 62_-2~'2 ~ "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend that it be placed on first reading. <br />This closes ~ portion of Chesapeake Avenue between what was formerly Fourth Avenue and Scotts Creek. This has <br />been approved by the Planning Commission" <br /> <br /> On motion oT Mr. Knight, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, without <br />dissenting vote: <br /> ~"AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF CHESAPEAKE AV~NUE.J' . ' <br /> <br /> 62-203 - "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend that lit be placed on first reading. <br />This ordinance repeals Sections 33-1 through 33-22 of the Portsmouth City Code of 1961 relating to tattooing. <br /> <br /> <br />
