<br /> ~ Mr. Dillon nominated the present incumbents To succ~ee~ themselves as members.of the
<br />Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum Board, for a period of t~r~years, beginning May 1st, 1963.

<br />Motion of Mr, Knight to close the nominations was adopted~.
<br />
<br /> Vote being taken, the following were elected members of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard
<br />Museum Board, without dissenting rose.
<br />
<br /> 63-65 - "In the Washington Heights section of the City, there has been constructed a
<br />house on lots 2 and 3 of block A, Tax Plate 564, this propersy belonging to the City of Portsmouth.
<br /> This house should have been constructed on lots 1 and 2 of block B, Tax Plate 564,
<br />owned by Lorraine Morrison.
<br /> In order 5o straighten this matLer out., it is recommended that there,be an
<br />exchange of propersy of lots 2 and 3, block A for lots 1 and 2, block B and that the proper City officials be
<br />authorized 5o sign the deed.
<br />
<br /> This has been approved by the Planning Commission."
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Bastes 5o concur in the recommendation of the City Manager was adopted,
<br />without dissenting vote.

<br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS
<br />
<br /> 63-39 - Zoning amendmen~ ordinances S 63-2 and Z 63-4 on which action was deferred at the
<br />last meeting of Council were taken up.
<br />
<br />The following letter from Attorney Donald C. Kilgore was read:

<br />"It has been requested by the petitioners of a rezoning master involving propersy bounded
<br />
<br />By the Southern boundary line of Cavalier Manor, Section 18,
<br />the Eastern right of way line of Cavalie~ Boulevard, the
<br />Western boundary line of Victor~ ?~r~?nd the Northern right
<br />of way line of the Virginian Railroad Tract,
<br />
<br /> that consideration of this rezoniug matter be deferred until the last meeting of the City
<br />Council during the month of March, 1963. It is my understanding that other zoning matsers will appear on the
<br />agenda of council a5 that time, and it would appear appropriate 5o consider this rezoning matser also at that time.
<br />
<br /> In conjunction with the above rezoning ma55er, there was also a petition of the same
<br />petitioners for the vacation of a 40 foot easement bounding the above described propersy. Since the 5wo matters
<br />should be considered together, it is respectfully requested that thDs also be deferred until the last meeting mn
<br />this month.

<br /> 1961, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 8-2, 8-3, 8-4 and 8-5 PERTAINING RESPECTIVELY
<br /> TO (A) PERMIT REQUIRED FOR DANCE HALLS, (B) APPLICATION FOE PERMIT, (C)
<br /> ISSUANCE OF PERNIT, (D) REVOCATION FOR PERMIT, AND BY REPEALING SECTION
