<br />The following resolution was unanimously adopted:

<br /> WHEREAS, James A. Borum, Jr., the Purchasing Agent of the City of
<br />Portsmouth, is the owner of certain property known and numbered a-~ 451 Nelson Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHERFJL5, the acquisition of tko said property would be in accordance
<br />with its Comprehensive Plan for the development of the City; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the said James A. Borum, Jr., is willing to convey the said
<br />property to the City by general warranty deed, free and clear of all liens, for the sum of $5,500.00.
<br />
<br /> NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia, that the telnns of purchase be, and the same, hereby are approved.

<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City Manager and the City Attorney are hereby
<br />authorized and directed to~do all things necessary to conclude the purchase of the said property located at
