66-237 - The following letter from the Rollin~ood Civic Club was read:

"At a recent meeting of the Rollingwood Civic Club it was discussed that there
is no stop sign at the intersection of Senaca Trail and Chippewa Traillin Rollingwood. Some
near aeci~ents have been observed at this intersection and request is hereby being made that
the city erect a STOP sign on Senaca Trail at this intersection.

Request is also made for a badly needed traffic, light at Chowan Drive and
Airline Blvd. (Rt 58). This is a very dangerous intersection for traffic turning left from
Chowan Drive toward down$own. A recently installed right hand turning l~n~ on Airline Blvd,
while relieving the problem for traffic coming into Rollingwood from downtown, has made leaving
Rollingwood even more dangerous.

It was also discussed that street lighting in the area is inadequate and
that many streets here have no curbs and gutters and no fire plugs. We urgently request City
Council empower the appropriate directors to correct these conditions for our residents."
