Prentis Park Sidewalk project is from previous appropriations to Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Benn, to adopt a motion to exceed the 25% allowable limit on change orders, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Benn, Griffin, Moody, Pitts, Robinett, Whitehurst Nays: None Motion by Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Mr. Benn, to adopt a motion authorizing the City Manager to transfer unexpended appropriations, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Benn, Griffin, Moody, Pitts, Robinett, Whitehurst Nays: None 98-166 Adoption of a motion to transfer $235,199 from the Grants Contingency Account to fund the Victim/Witness Program. (See Item No. 98-197) Recommendatio~n: · Motion to provide $235,199 frOm the Grant Contingency Fund. Pro ose and Need: · The City of Portsmouth's Victim/Witness Program has received a grant from the Department of Criminal JuStice Services. · The funds will be used to prOvide direct services to approximately 3,500 victims and witnesses of crime. Holley III was appointed to replace Johnny M. Clemons. Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Benn, to close the nominations, and there being no further nominations, the above nomination was adopted by unanimous vote.
