<br />On motion of Mr. Leafy the ordinance was adopted, end by the following vote:

<br />ELM LANE SCHOOL SITE, THE CIVIC CENTER, STADIb74 REPAIRS, EFFINGHAM STREET PROJECT, SEWERS, WESTHAVEN
<br />BALL FIELD, URBAN RENEWAL PROJECTS, MARINE TERMINALS, AND COAST GUARD ~IUSEb%I."

<br /> 67-144 - The following ordinance, approved on first reading at last meeting, was taken

<br />TEMPORARY LOAN TO THE PORTS~4OUTH PORT AND INDUSTRIAL CO~{MISSION."

<br />On motion of Mr. Knight, the ordinance was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />On motion of Mr. Barnes, the ordinance was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />67-135 - Motion of Mr. Barnes to go into the election Of School Board Members was adopted.
<br />
<br /> Mr. King nominatedMrs~ A. P. Hopewell, B. M. ltutchins, and Vernon E. Wimbrough, for three year
<br />te~as ending June 50, 1970.
<br />
<br />On motion of Mr. Barnes, nominations were closed.
<br />
<br />Vote being taken, those nominated were unanimously elected for the terms specified.
<br />
<br /> 67- 155 - Motion of Mr. Knight to go into the election of a successor to John T. Nix on the
<br />Portsmouth Port and Industrial Commission was adopted.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Barnes nominated E. Saunders Early.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Knight, nominations were closed.
<br />
<br /> Vote being taken, Mr. Early was elected a member of the Port and Industrial Commission, for a
<br />term expiring December 51, 1967.
