July 11, 1967 <br /> <br />On the west side of Hill Avenue approximately 550 feet, along Hill Avenue, south of <br />Seaboard Avenue, with a depth of approximately 320 feet. <br /> The Planning Commission, at its meeting this afternoon, declared this <br />property surplus. I recommend that it be disposed of in conformity with the long r~nge <br />industrial development plans for Pinners Point. This property will be turned over to the Portsmouth <br />Port and Industrial Con~nission subject to drainage easements and sanitary sewer easements; which will <br />have to be retained." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. King to concur in the recommendation of the City Manager was adopted, without <br />dissenting vote: <br /> <br /> 67-202 - "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend it be placed on first reading. <br /> This authorizes the payment of $2.00 to police officers when they are summoned to <br />court on City appeal cases. They have been receiving compensation when they are summoned on <br />State appeal cases, but have received nothing when summoned on City appe~alrcases. <br /> This will also compensate police officers, from patrolman through lieutenant, when <br />called back for special assignments. This will comoensate them at the rate of $2.50 per hour. <br />Any over-time work will not be eonsidered a special' assignment duty.
