<br />the Southern SZandard Plumbing Code as the official plumbing code for the City.

<br /> Sometime back we amended our code to conform to the code of the surrounding cities. Now the Federal
<br />Government is requiring the cities to adopt the Southern Standard Plumbing Code. It is necessary for us to
<br />adopt this code in order that we can be recertified to receive Federal funds."

<br /> 68-420 - "I recommend that the proper City officials be authorized to sign an agreement between the
<br />Virginia Electric and Power Company and the City of Pol~smouth. This covers easements for a power line
<br />crossing four parcels of property in Nansemond County owned by the Water Department.
<br />
<br /> This p~wer line will originate at the Virginia Electric and Power Company's atomic energy plant in S~rry.
<br />The company will pay the City $18,664.~0 for these easements."
