<br /> Motion of Mr. Johnson that the letter requesting improvement to Jordansville Lane be received as
<br />information .and that the petitioners be notified that t~e Council has been unable to find a solution to the
<br />question o.f imp~ing private lanes.
<br />
<br /> Mo~ion of Mr. Holley to amend the m~tioq by adding that a copy of the report from the City Attorney
<br />be attached to the letter to the petitioners Was adopted, without dissenting vote.

<br /> 69-19 - Motion of Mr. Smith to go into the election of m~mbers to the Portsmouth Port and Industrial
<br />Commission was adopted.

<br /> Mr. Johnson nominated J. P. Stephenson and Raymond Tweed to succeed themselves as members of the Port
<br />Commission, for a term of four years, expiring December $1, 19.72.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Mr. King, nominations were closed~

<br /> 69-19 - Motion of Mr. King to go into the election of a member to the Minimum Housing Board was adopted.

<br /> Mr. Holley nominated C. S. Stublen to succeed himelf as a member of the Board for a term of four years,
<br />expiring December 31, 1972.
