70-504- The following letter from Mrs. ~. blinor,'lS84 ~'atson Street, was read:

"~gain, I am writing, hoping this will bring abeut some ch*age in the unsettled matter that now stands -
the issue is the line that runs through~the 7th block of tVatson Street. Over two years ago, I was promised
this matter would be straightened out, but instead it is getting worse. Now ~rM neighbor in back that joins
me told me the City Councilmen. told them they were alt right, that if I had the land surveyed she could give
me what's due me.

Sirs, I have done all I could so far as having the land surveyed and I b~e also tried to reason with the
Jennings in the back. They just won~tit~. I offered to come half way with them in anything we had to do, with
no use. I have been two or three years trying to get this one lot straight. I have been told by my lawyer it
had to be worked out with the city - you people are the~ only ones to get this mess straight. These people
have established their own line since you told her she was right - now I am sure some mistake has been made.
These people are ruining my health. I have no privacy. All dirt, they bring it back here - they have planted
a tree (fruit) about khree feet from my kitchen door. They spray it and that makes me go in attach of asthma.

They bring the car back here; that is also bad, and all garbage cans and all trash. I only ask you people
for what is right. These people use all back yards in this block and tell me the City councilmen said it is
all right. Now we can't believe that. We know it takes more than one or two families to elect our city
officers and they are supposed to be for all the people. I feel these people should pay taxes for the use of
near one half of this block. I am asking you once again to take another look at this very small matter.

~e all have to live somewhere. ~e need those 36 ft. they have to do what we are supposed to do. ~
husband is en old age. Now he hasn't space to walk around in or do anything as we should. I have to keep my
back door closed most of the time.

I hope~ you all will do what's right nad lawful to each of us. Thank you."

~otion of ~r. Holley to refer .to the City Attorney, was adopted, without dissenting vote.

70-305 - The following resolution commending b~rs. A. P.
