<br />71-26 - The following ordinance, approved on first reading at last meeting was taken up and read:

<br />On motion of Mr. Raymond Smith, the ~mdinance was adopted and by the following vote:

<br />The following letter from Mrs. A. P. (Anne) Long, Jr. was presented:
<br />
<br /> "If it is still possible, I should like, as Chairman of the Program Committee of the Wesley Community
<br />and .Child Service Center, !nc., to have the opportunity to read a letter from the Board at tomorrow's
<br />meeting of City Council."
<br />
<br />Mrs. Long spoke in opposition to the Ordinance Z 71-8.

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMHND SECTION 4-5 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, 1961,
<br />PERTAINING TO DRY CLEANING PICK-UP STATIONS."

<br />On motion of Mr. Johnson, the ordinmn~e was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />71-28 - The followinggordinance, approved on first reading at last meeting, was taken up and read:

<br />A NEW SECTION NIB'lEERED 51-52.1, PROHIBITING LIVE ADBERTISING WITHIN AND ADJACF~NT TO STREETS
<br />AND HIGHWAYS."
