<br />71-545 - USE PERMIT 71.5 -Pe~tition of Imp.erial Developers, Inc.

<br /> On motion of Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Turner, the following resolution was
<br />approved by a vote of:
<br />
<br /> "A RESOLUTION GRANTIN~ A USE PERMIT FOR THE. OPERATION OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE
<br /> STATION AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF LONDON AND EFFINGHAM STREETS
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Imperial Developers, Inc., has made application pursuaat to Section 4-2 of
<br />Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmnuth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as herein-
<br />after described; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be
<br />done in connection with said application, and the Planning Commission has considered the
<br />granting of said use permit, subject to the conditians hereinafter stated.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:
<br />
<br /> A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described is sought (1) will not
<br />adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the nei~hh~kho~d~f
<br />the proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property
<br />or improvements in thecneighborhood, and (S) will be in accord with the purpose~ of said
<br />Zoning Ordinance.

<br /> B. That Imperial Developers,
<br />restrictions, pursuant to Section

<br />OF BOOKS FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY."

<br />MENTS, EXTENSIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE REVENUE:pRODUCING UNDERTAKING OF THE
<br />CITY CONSISTING OF ITS WATER, SEWER, AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS, PURSUANT TO

<br />1961, PERTAINING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN OFF%CERS BECAUSE OF A CONFLICT WITH
<br />THE CITY CHARTER."
