Korb, Jr., City Attorney, <br />was presented: <br /> <br />"RESOLUTION COMMENDING MICHAEL A. KORB, JR., FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael A. Korh, Jr. will resign as City Attorney for the City of Portsmouth <br />at the end of this month, after having served as such for over nine~years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said Michael A. Korb, Jr. has been a devoted and loyal public servant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this service demanded a great deal of time and effort'on the part of Michael <br />A. Korb, Jr., in addition to his regular duties as City Attorney; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, many worthwhile projects for the sntire City were accomplished by the City <br />during these years of unselfish service by Michael A. Korb, Jr. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />session assembled on this 21st day of December, ~971, that the valuable contribution to <br />progress of the City made b y Michael A. Korb, Jr. through his years of service as City <br />Attorney be acknowledged with sincere gratitude; and <br /> <br />in <br />the <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER R~SOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be presented to Michael A. Korb, <br />Jr. as~ token of the esteem in which he is held by the people of this City, and that it be <br />made a part of the permanent records of the City Council." <br /> <br /> <br />
