<br />72-152 The following letter received from Mr. George R. Walker, was read:
<br />
<br /> "This refers to I~m 72-152, the Manager's Report zo the Council at its April 25, 1972
<br />meeting concerning the due process of the 1972-73 Real Estate Assessment Appeal Forms, and
<br />delayed from the March 28, 1972 meeting of Council.
<br />
<br /> It also refers to my April 20, 1972 letter requesting a place on the April 25, 1972
<br />agenda to speak to the abovesaid Report, much request having been denied by telephone message
<br />to my home on the morning of the April 25 meeting. The stated reason for said denial being
<br />receipt of the request after the lawful deadline stipulated in Council's Rules.
<br />
<br /> Therefore it is requested that my name be placed on the agenda of the May 9, 1972
<br />meeting of City Council to speak to the abovenoted Manager's Report, the issues of r~al
<br />estate taxes and due process being of perennial interest and effect to botk myself and
<br />other ditizens of Portsmouth after, as well as before, the May 2, 1972 election."
