<br />This amends the City Code pertaining to transfer of appropriations,~appropriation, ordinances
<br />and resolutions, borrowing by means of notes, interest and penalties for non-paxment of
<br />amusement taxes and exemptions from amusement taxes.
<br />
<br /> This inserts the Director of Finance in lieu of the Mayor on certificates for the
<br />borrowing of funds. There is also authorization to transfer any unencumbered appropriation
<br />balance not to exceed $10,000 from one department to another.
<br />
<br /> The section dealing with the amusement tax increases the rate of interest payable
<br />from 1/2% to 1% on delinquent amusement taxes due. It also includes television announcers
<br />under the exemption section of the ordinance."

<br /> On motion of Mr. Johnson, and seconded hy Mr. Smith, the following ordinance was ap-

<br />10-14, 10-18 10-19, 10-20, 10-94 AND 10-98 THEREOF PERTAINING TO TRANSFER OF
<br />APPROPRIATIONS, APPROPRIATION ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS, BORROWING BY MEANS
<br />OF NOTES, INTEREST AND PENALTIES FOR NON-PAYMENT OF Ab'~SEMENT TAXES, EXEMPTIONS
<br />FROM ~4USEMBNT TAXES."
