<br />reading. These appropriate $1,170,071 in "Revenue Sharing" funds received for Entitlement
<br />Z and interest earned. $1,164,814 is the amount received for our second entitlement covering
<br />the period July 1, 1972 through December 31, 1972, and $S,257 is the interest earned on
<br />Entitlement 1. It is necessary to adopt two ordinances as we are required to deposit all
<br />revenues received or earned from Revenue Sharing in a separate trust fund. The first ordinan~
<br />appropriates the money in the trust fund and the second ordinance appropriates and authorizes
<br />the expenditures in the General Fund.

<br /> The appropriation for the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund is broken down as follows:

<br />prior capital expenditures. $105,771 is to be used for replacement of worn-out and obsolete
<br />equipment."

<br />teer Program" in Juvenile and Oomestic Relations Court.

<br /> This grant is the first received by the City of Portsmouth through Pilot Cities.
<br />This program will augment existing probation services of the Juvenile Court by providing
<br />a volunteer Coordinator within-the court to recruit, train and supervise volunteers in
<br />working with juveniles on probation."
