<br /> ~HEKEAS, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Wentz, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Carlton A. Sears, and
<br />Ballard Associates have made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described
<br />portion of a certain street and it appearing that notice of the application and request
<br />for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on May 9, 1973, on the bulletin board
<br />of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the
<br />Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal
<br />Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the'City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that Frank N. Bilisoly, Louis J. Leitner, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and R.
<br />trvine Smith, be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such
<br />street and report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if
<br />any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the following:

<br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the City of
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia, and constituting that portion of Floral Lane lying
<br />between the southern right of way line of River Shore Road and the Bal-
<br />lard Farm, such street being SO feet in width and 170 feet, more or less, in
<br />length, and presently being in an unpaved and unimproved condition,"

<br />Knights of Columbus, and also, Catholic Alumni Association, was adopted by the £ollowing
