<br />that Prank N. Bilisoly, James V. McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and
<br />James L. Choate, be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion
<br />of such street and report to this Council in writin~ whether in their opinion, any,
<br />and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the following:

<br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the City
<br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, and comprising that portion of Middle Street
<br />$6~ated between the northern right of way line of the Crawford Connector
<br />and the southern right of way line of'Wavy Street."

<br />in connection with the Crawford Urban Renewal Project. The closing has been approved
<br />by the Planning Commission."

<br />posted June 12, 1975, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of
<br />Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and
<br />on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth.

<br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Elks Lodge No. 82 and the Ambassador Club of Portsmouth have
<br />made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain
<br />street and it appearing that notice of the application and request for the appointment
<br />of viewers was duly posted on June 14, 1975, on the bulletin board of the Court of
<br />Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of
<br />the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division,
<br />of the City of Portsmouth.
