<br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Electric and Power Company has made application to vacate
<br />and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street and it appearing that
<br />notice of the application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted
<br />on July 31, 1973 on the several bulletin boards of the Circuit Court of the City of
<br />Portsmouth and on the bulletin board of the General District Court of the City of Portsm
<br />mouth.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that Frank N. Bilisoly, R. Irvine Smith, Zalmon I. Blachman, Louis J. Leitner and James

<br />PROPERTY TO ALLAN L. SEGAL (WATER STREET PROPERTY).

<br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, has accepted the bid
<br />of Allan L. Segal to purchase certain property hereinafter described; and

<br /> WHEREAS, Allan L. Segal has
<br />of a restaurant facility on this
<br />bids; and
<br />
<br />submitted architectural plans for the construction
<br />property as required by the public advertisement for
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the plans submitted have been fully reviewed by this council and found
<br />to be suitable and appropriate for development of this land.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that the architectural plans submitted by Al}an L. Segal are approved and the City
<br />Manager is hereby directed to convey the said property to Allan L. Segal and to execute
<br />all documents and perform all acts necessary to accomplish such conveyance.
