<br /> Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Johnson, to amend the ordinance under
<br />Section 10-65.6 Amount of exemption, first two categories read 100%; all other categori
<br />remain the same, was adopted by the following vote:

<br />Nays: None

<br /> Motion of Mr. Johnson and seconded by ~r. Smith, to amend the ordinance under
<br />Section 10-65.8, Paragraph 2, be effective January 1, 1974 instead of July 1, 1974,
<br />and be funded by Revenue Sharing; additional chang~s.~that are necessary be made by the
<br />City Attorney to implement the ordinance before 2nd reading, was adopted by the following
<br />vote:

<br />BY ADDING TH-ERBTO SECTIONS 2-57.8, 2-57.9, 2-57.10 and 2-57.11 PERTAINING
<br />TO THE CREATION OF THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SAFETY STUDY COMMISSION."

<br /> The following request to speak received from Mr. George R. Walker, 1749 Spratley
<br />Street, was read:
