PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE TAX RELIEF FOR THE ELDERLY." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. Johnson, the ordinance be approved on first <br />reading. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Johnson, to amend the ordinance under <br />Section 10-65.6 Amount of exemption, first two categories read 100%; all other categori <br />remain the same, was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Early, Holley, Johnson, King, Smith, Wentz, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Johnson and seconded by ~r. Walker, 1749 Spratley <br />Street, was read: <br /> <br /> "Subject: The agenda of the 28 August, 1973, Portsmouth City Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Council Gag Rule 2-24, it is requested that my name be placed on the <br />subject agenda to address Item 73-360 as amended and approved by Action, Incorporated. <br /> <br /> The privilege of addressing said item immediately prior to its consideration by <br />Council is hereby claimed." <br /> <br /> <br />
