<br /> TO THE GENERAL FUND IN THE CATEGORY OF FINANCIAL ADMINISTKgTION. '

<br /> 74-257 "Ordinance on first reading to appropriate $31,457.02 from the General Fund
<br /> [or the paym~ent of audits on funds from Entitlements II1 and IV of Revenue Sharing.
<br /> The monies included in this appropriation were appropriated by the previous ordinance
<br /> from the interest earned on Entitlements III and IV during the month of May. 1574. These
<br /> funds will be used to pay for audits which have been comnleted on Community Motor Bus
<br /> subsidies, Portsmouth Ambulance contract subsidy, and the audit for Entitlement I, II and
<br /> III required by the Federal Revenue Sharing Guidelines which is enclosed for your infor-
<br /> mation.''

<br /> On motion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. Johnson, the following ordinance was

<br /> 74-258 - "Ordinance on first reading to amend the City Code so as to change the
<br />voting places for Precincts 21 and 22.

<br /> 74-260 - "Resolution authorizing the conveyance of certain surplus City property in
<br />the HattonsVille area of the City to the Industrial Development Authority and authorizing
<br />the City Manager to execute a Deed of Conveyance for the same.
<br />
<br /> This supersedes a resolution adopted by the City Council at its meeting May 8, 1973.
<br />The previous resolution authorized conveyance of the property for consideration of
<br />$5,000 per acre. The Portsmouth Industrial Developemtn Authority has requested that
<br />the sales price of this land be reduced to $4,000 per acre."
