This will authorize the Recreation Department to proceed with the design, location and taking of bids for construction of a municipal swimming pool." On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Early, the following ordinance be ap- proved on first reading, and by the following vote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $100,000 FROM THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND IN THE CATEGORY OF RECREATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SWIMMING POOL." This isa technical change to the section which allows cost-of-living increases to City retirees. This makes the Consumer Price Index adjustment available to any emplpyee who has been retired twelve months as of July 1 of each fiscal year."
