'68 <br /> <br />February 25, 1975 <br /> <br /> This will provide necessary funds <br />the categories of Public Safety-Communications, Parks and Recreation, Judicial, Librar±~s, <br />and other Miscellaneous Equipment. The City Manager recommends adoption of this ordinance <br />on first reading." <br /> <br />to the General Fund for the purchase of equipment in <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr~ Oast, the following ordinance was approved <br />first reading, and by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $94,724.87 FROM THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST <br />FUND, ENTITLEMENT IV AND V~ FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN THE CATEGORY OF GENERAL <br />AND MULTI-PURPOSE EQUIPMENT, INTO THE ~NERAL F~NDJ" <br /> <br /> ?5-85 "I submit the attached ordinance for your consideration which provides funds <br />the following Capital Expenditures in the category of General and Multipurpose Equipment. <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />A. Public Safety -Communications <br /> <br />This will provide the money for the replacement of the <br />radio test equipment in the Communications Department <br />which is needed in order to keep all radios serviced, <br />maintained, and in operating condition. <br /> <br />B. Judicial <br /> <br />This amount is needed to provide the filing equipment <br />for the Circuit Court in order to eliminate filing <br />cabinets and the demand for future filing cabinets for <br />the Circuit Court. This equipment will enable the Court <br />to gain approximately 26% additional space and permi~ <br />the consolidation of the Clerks' Offices which will in <br />turn provide the necessary space for the Commonwealth's <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />C. Parks and Recreation <br /> <br />This will provide the money for the replacement of equip- <br />ment that is being utilized for cleanup, mowing, etc., <br />for City owned property. This equipment will also allow <br />us to more effectively utilize CETA employees which have <br />been employed in this department. <br /> <br />D. Libraries <br /> <br />Provide the funds for the construction of the ramp at the <br />Main Library which was .shown in the 19747S Capital Work <br />Plan to be funded from Revenue Sharing. <br /> <br /> As poinge~caut in the agenda explanation, this appropriation is interest that has beer <br />earned on Revenue Sharing and I recommend its adoption on first reading for the expenditures ar <br />the categories outlined above." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Wentz, the following ordinance was approved <br />on first reading, and by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $94,724.87 FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF EQUIPMENT FOR PUBLIC SAFETY CO~4UNICATION, PARKS AND RECREATI-ON, JUDICIAL, <br />LIBRARFES AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT. ' <br /> <br /> 75-86 - "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate <br />General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund in the category of Public Transportation <br />Fund. <br /> <br />$7,500 from the <br />to the General <br /> <br /> This appropriation is necessary to provide the funds to the General Operating Budget <br />for the $7,500 subsidy to Community Motor Bus gompany for the month of March, 1975. The <br />City Manager recommends adoption: of this ordinance on first reading." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Wentz, the following ordinance was approved <br />on first reading, and by~ the following vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $7,500 FROM THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND <br />IN THE CATEGORY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, INTO THE GENERAL FUND." <br /> <br />Ayes: Early, Oast, Wentz, Davis <br />Nays: Elliott, Holley <br /> <br /> 75-87 "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $7,500 from the <br />General Fund for the payment of operating subsidies under the contract with C6mmunity Motor <br />Bus Company. <br /> <br /> These funds are to continue for one additional month of contractual arrangement with <br />Community Motor Bu~ Company becamse the purchase by TTDC cannot be perfected until further <br />informatian is developed for Council consideration, rhe City Manager recommends adoption <br />of this ordinance on first reading." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. E~:rly, the following ordinance was approved on <br />first reading, a~d by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
