The City's ~are of the 701 Program was pre- <br />viously adopted as part of the 197S-76 operating budget. All funds included in this appro- <br />priation are Federal dollars. The City Manager recommends adoption." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was approved <br />on first reading, and by unanimmn~svote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $59¢300 FROM THE FEDERAL GRANTS FUND FOR OPERATIN~ <br />THE 701 PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 197S-76." <br /> <br /> 75-271 <br />the Federal <br />P~ogram. <br /> <br /> "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $110,000 from <br />Grants Fund for a 6-month continuation of the Portsmouth High Intensity Target <br /> <br /> This appropriation will provide the necessary funds to extend the Portsmouth High In- <br />tensity Target Program for an additional 6 months, December 31, 1975. The continued program <br />will include personnel from the Police Department, ansAssistant Commonwealth's Attorney, <br />Community Service Officer P~ogram, and the Crime Prevention Program.
