165 July 22, 1975 75-305 "Consideration of an ordinance to-appropriate-S22,180 from the General Fund for the purchase of equipment and financial administration. This appropriation was previously made from the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund during 1974-75 and still remains in force in that mtate at thim time. The General Fund requires a reappropriation of this amount because all appropriation from the General Fund expire on June 30, each year when we close the fiscal year. The City Manager recommends approval on first reading." On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $22,180 FROM THE GENERAL ~UND FOR PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION." 75-306 "Consideration of an ordinance to appropriate $61,000 from the Capital Improve~ ment Fund for renovations to judicial buildings A and B in the Civic Center. This appropriation will provide the funds for the alterations requested by the Common- wealth Attorney's Office, Circuit Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and the Law Library. This renovation will include the expansion of the Commonwe§lth Attorney's Office, relocation of the High Constable's Office, relocation of the Law Library and the combination of the Circuit and Hustings Courts Clerks' Offices. The City Manager'recommends adoption on first reading." On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was ap- proved on first reading, and by unanimous vote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $61,000 FROM tHE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR RENOVATION TO JUDICIAL BUILDINGS A AND B IN THE CIVIC CENTER." 75-3~7 "Consideration of an ordinance to appropriate $16,500 from the Capital Improve- ment Fund for off-site drainage improvements to Elm Avenue. This is the City's share of the replacing and upgrading of off-site drainage on Elm Avenue in connection with the Atlantic Creosote Plant. The funds in the 1975-76 Capital Improvements Program earmarked $200,000 for off-site drainage during the fiscal year. The City Manager recomends adoption on first reading.~' Motion ~o authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with Atlantic Creosote com- mitting no more than $16,500 for the construction of the off-site drainage." On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $16,500 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMBNT~FUND FOR OFF-SITE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO ELM AVENUE." Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, that authorization to execute ggree- merit be granted, was ~dgp~ed by unanimous vote. 75-308 - "Consideration of an ordinance to appropriate $65,000 from the Revenue Sharing T~ust Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund in the category of Capital Expenditures for drainage. This appropriation will provide the necessary funds to the Capital Improvement Fund for the construction of drainage improvements to Wilcox Avenue and Peach Street. This pro- ject was approved as part of the Revenue Sharing package recommended by the Municipal Finance Commission, the Planning Commission, and the CPM staff. The City's estimate for construction and materials~was $55,000 and the .low bid was $51,811. The City Manager recommends approval on first reading." On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, and by unanimous ¥ote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $65,000 ~RD~' THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND IN THE CATEGORY OF CAPITAL EXPENSE FOR DRAINAGE." 75-309 "Consideration of an ordinance to appropriate $65,000 from the Capital Improve- ment Fund for drainage improvements on.Wilcox~Avenue and Peach Street. This companion ordinance appropriates the money from the Capital Impyovement Fund for the construction of the work outlined in the previous ordinance.- The City Manager recommends approval on first reading." On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was approve, on first reading, and ~F unanimous vote: "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $65,000 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT WILCOX AVENUE AND PEACH STREET."
