<br /> 1. The City Attorney is directed to institute eminent domain proceedings against
<br />the following property situate in the City of Portsmouth, for the purpose of acquiring
<br />fee simple title therein, together with any and all easements of access, light or air
<br />incident to the lands of the landowner abutting upon said property, in accordance and
<br />pursuant to Sections 2.06, 2.07 and 2.08 of the Charter of the City of Portsmouth (Chapter
<br />471 of the Acts of Assembly of 1970, as amended), and to deposit to the credit of the
<br />Clerk of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth as provided by law the sum hereinafter
<br />specified to compensate the owners of the parcel of land kno~m, numbered and designated
<br />as Parcel 3 as shown on that certain plat entitled "Property To Be Conveyed To City
<br />Of Portsmouth For Mt. Herman Conservation And Development Project VAR-69V, dated July
<br />25, 1975, made by Baldwin & Gregg, Ltd., reference to said plat being made for a more
<br />particular description of the property. A copy of said plat is attached hereto.

<br />Manager recommends adoption."

<br /> 471 OF THE ACTS OF ASSEMBLY, AS ~MENDED, SAID PROPERTY BEING NECESSARY FOR
<br /> THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION AND WIDENING OF WOOL AVENUE.

<br /> OF WAY OF THE PROPOSED WESTERN FREEWAY, AND TO SIGN A BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF Si,OOO
