<br /> 75-427 "Consideration of an ordinance to amend the City Code by adding sections per-
<br />taining to erosion and sediment control.

<br /> This ordinance will bring the City under State requirements which provide for erosion
<br />and sediment control. The City has submitted the content of tis ordinance to the State and
<br />received approval. The City Manager recommends adoption.
<br />

<br /> This amendment to the City Code will requi~e bonds of every Master Plumber and every
<br />contractor doing business in the City. Such bonds will be for the protection of the City
<br />and persons for whom services are being provided to insure professional quality. The City
<br />Manager recommends adoption.

<br /> On Notion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Holley, the following ordinance was adopted
<br />on first and final reading, and by the following vote:

<br />AMENDING SECTION 6-13 OF SAID COBE BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SUBSECTION NUMBERED
<br />6-13C4)(b) PERTAINING TO BONDS OF MASTER PLUMBERS AND BY AMENDING SECTION 6-18
<br />OF SAID CODE PERTAINING TO CONTRACTORS LICENSE AND BOND REQUIREMENTS."

<br /> 75-429 'Consideration of an ordinance to amend the City Code by repealing a section
<br />of the license tax for manufacturer's sales agents.
<br />
<br /> There appears in the City Code two conflicting sections pertaining to a City license
<br />tax for manufacturer's sales agents. Tb~ section which we recommend to be repealed charges
<br />a flat rate of $75 while the remaining section charges on a percentage basis consistent with
<br />other business licenses. This amendment will eliminate the duplication in the City Code.
<br />The City Manager recommends adoption."

<br />Benjamin J. Levy, to s~eak, was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />effective date thirty (30) days from date ofradoption; and to adopt the following ordinance

<br />~ REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION 20-89 OF CHAPTER 20 THEREOF, PERTAINING
<br />TO LICENSE FOR MANUFACTURER'S SALES ABENTS."

<br /> By resolution adopted September 9, 1975, viewers were appointed an RR~e recommended
<br />that this street be closed. Closure of this street was previously recommended by the
<br />Planning Commission and a copy of the viewer's report is attached for your information.
