January 27. ~976

of the property was discussed during your recent meeting. Based on this, your Commission may
wish to reconsider your recommendation on this property if the appraisal were more realistic.
It is my understanding that the appraisal will be in the office of the City Manager within the
next few days and it would appear appropriate that the open space-recreation use of property
in Cavalier Manor could more intelligently be evaluated at that time.

We also will require an appraisal of the strip of land located between the city owned
swimming pool and the recreation center located on ~reedom Drive. Our City Manager indicates
that he is going to seek this at an early date.

On behalf of the City Council my thanks go to you and ~he members of your Commission
for the time and energy devoted to the improvement of recreation and parks in our community."

of land that will be available in the Cavalier Manor area that the City Manager might have
at his disposal; any other additional information that we can furnigh to help the people in
the Cavalier ~anor section in their deliberation, was adopted by unanimous vote.
