Metrakos, Director, Chamber of Commerce, presented to each Councilman <br />a lapel All-America emblem. <br /> <br />The City Manager presented the following reports: <br /> <br /> 76-343 "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $20,000 from the <br />Capital Improvement Fund for engineering and survey costs in connection with the Waterfront <br />Development. <br /> <br /> This appropriation will provide the necessary funds to pay for the engineering and survey <br />costs to prepare plats for recordation of the entire waterfront project. This appropriation <br />will also include engineering costs associated with design and location of public improvements <br />such as streets, utilities, drainage, street lighting, etc., in the waterfront project. The <br />City Manager recommends adoption on first reading." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Elliott,' the following ordinance was approved <br />on first reading, and by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $20,000 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR <br />ENGINEERING AND SURVEY COSTS IN CONNECTION WITH WATERFRONTDEVELOPMENT." <br /> <br /> 76-344 "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $40,000 from the <br />Capital Improvement Fund for relocation cost of the Abandoned Automobile Storage Compound. <br /> <br /> <br />
