MCLEAN COMPANY, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, George T. McLean Company, Inc. owns certain hereinafter described property <br />on First Street in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth desires to purchase said property in connection with <br />the future development of the U. S. Coast Guard Base and the closing of First Street; and <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, George T. McLean Company, Inc. has offered to sell said proper'ty to the City <br />of Portsmouth for $6,890.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, after due consideration, has determined <br />that the offer is favorable to the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to purchase the hereinafter described pro- <br />perty from George T. McLean Company, Inc., for the price of $6,890.00. <br /> <br /> <br />
