ORDINANCE NO. 2026-06 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN ALLOCATION OF $123,630 FROM THE <br />STATE COMPENSATION BOARD TECHNOLOGY TRUST FUND AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2026 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE PORTSMOUTH CIRCUIT COURT CLERK'S OFFICE TO FUND <br />TECHNOLOGY MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an allocation of $123,630 from the State <br />Compensation Board Technology Trust Fund and appropriates said funds in the FY 2026 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Circuit Court Clerk's <br />Office to fund technology maintenance and improvements. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2026 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $123,630. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on January 13, 2026. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
