ORDINANCE NO. 2025-11 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION THE DONATION OF <br />ONE DEMANET K9 TRAINING APPREHENSION SUIT VALUED AT <br />APPROXIMATELY $1,500 BY A GROUP KNOWN AS "LOCAL AUTHORS FOR <br />PPD K9". <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation the donation of one Demanet K9 <br />training apprehension suit valued at approximately $1,500 by a group known as "Local <br />Authors for PPD K9". <br />2. That the donated item shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department <br />K9 unit. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 11, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
