ORDINANCE NO. 2025-40 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 FROM THE <br />BEAZLEY FOUNDATION, INC. AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY <br />2025 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE PEDIATRIC PRE -HOSPITAL CARE PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts funds in the amount of $20,000 from the Beazley Foundation, Inc. <br />and appropriates said amount in the FY 2025 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds so appropriated shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services for the Pediatric Pre -Hospital Care Program. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $20,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on June <br />10, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
