ORDINANCE NO. 2025-38 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $5,700 FROM THE DELONG COMPANY, INC. AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2025 GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation in the amount of $5,700 <br />from The Delong Company, Inc. and appropriates said funds to the FY 2025 General Fund <br />Budget. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 General Fund <br />Budget are increased by $5,700. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 27, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
