ORDINANCE NO. 2024-93 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$59,708 FROM THE PORTSMOUTH GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2025 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES TO PURCHASE PHARMACEUTICAL SUPPLIES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of $59,708 from <br />Portsmouth General Hospital Foundation and appropriates said amount in the FY 2025 <br />Grants Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services to purchase pharmaceutical supplies. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $59,708. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 24, 2024. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
