ORDINANCE NO. 2024-61 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $1,040,000 OF WATER AND WASTEWATER <br />RATE REVENUES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2024 <br />PUBLIC UTLITY FUND TO COVER `PUMP AND HAUL' SEWER SYSTEM <br />EXPENDITURES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts $1,040,000 of water and wastewater rate revenues <br />and appropriates said amount in the FY 2024 Public Utility Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used to cover `pump and haul' sewer system <br />expenditures. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2024 Public Utility <br />Fund Budget are increased by $1,040,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 25, 2024. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
