12. Former subsection 40.2- 217(D)(1)(d) of the City Code (amended to become subsection 40.2- 217(D)(1)(e) by Amendment #11 of this ordinance) is amended by adding a new subsection (vi) as follows. Sec. 40.2 -217. Use- Specific Standards. (D) Residential Uses. (1) Household Lining. (e) Dtivelling, Multi - Fancily. (vi) Security Cameras for Multi - Family Dwellings. Prior to initially operating a multi- family dwelling or a conversion to a multi - family dwelling and for so long as the use continues, digital video equipment shall be installed and maintained with recording capabilities sufficient to indicate the date and time that the recording is made. The recording shall provide surveillance coverage encompassing the front, sides, and rear exteriors of the development for twenty -four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Recorded data must be maintained in a condition permitting review of the information for a period of no less than thirty (30) days_ 13. Subsection 40.2- 217(F)(2)(c) of the City Code is amended by deleting subsection (i), as follows. Sec. 40.2 -217. Use- Specific Standards. (F) Commercial Uses. (2) General Standards. Except otherwise noted, in addition to general requirements these general commercial standards are intended to apply for all commercial development in the City. (c) Building Orientation. The principal facades shall face a public street serving the development to the greatest extent possible. 14. Subsection 40.2- 217(H)(3)(b) of the City Code is amended by inserting a new subsection (i) and re- numbering the subsequent subsections accordingly, as follows.
