12. Former subsection 40.2- 217(D)(1)(d) of the City Code (amended to become <br />subsection 40.2- 217(D)(1)(e) by Amendment #11 of this ordinance) is amended by <br />adding a new subsection (vi) as follows. <br />Sec. 40.2 -217. Use- Specific Standards. <br />(D) Residential Uses. <br />(1) Household Lining. <br />(e) Dtivelling, Multi - Fancily. <br />(vi) Security Cameras for Multi - Family Dwellings. <br />Prior to initially operating a multi- family dwelling or a <br />conversion to a multi - family dwelling and for so long as the <br />use continues, digital video equipment shall be installed and <br />maintained with recording capabilities sufficient to indicate <br />the date and time that the recording is made. The recording <br />shall provide surveillance coverage encompassing the front, <br />sides, and rear exteriors of the development for twenty -four <br />(24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Recorded data must <br />be maintained in a condition permitting review of the <br />information for a period of no less than thirty (30) days_ <br />13. Subsection 40.2- 217(F)(2)(c) of the City Code is amended by deleting <br />subsection (i), as follows. <br />Sec. 40.2 -217. Use- Specific Standards. <br />(F) Commercial Uses. <br />(2) General Standards. Except otherwise noted, in addition to general <br />requirements these general commercial standards are intended to apply for <br />all commercial development in the City. <br />(c) Building Orientation. <br />The principal facades shall face a public street serving the <br />development to the greatest extent possible. <br />14. Subsection 40.2- 217(H)(3)(b) of the City Code is amended by inserting a new <br />subsection (i) and re- numbering the subsequent subsections accordingly, as follows. <br />
