d. For each restaurant with a seating capacity at tables for more than <br />500 persons, but not more than 1,000 persons, $650.00. <br />e. For each restaurant with a seating capacity at tables for more than <br />1,000 persons, $800.00. <br />(3) For retail mixed beverage casino licenses <br />$800.00 plus an additional $2.00 for each gaming station located on the <br />premises of the casino gaming establishment. For the purposes of this <br />subsection. "gaming station" means each slot machine and each casino <br />gaming table that is in active use, as determined annually on December 31. <br />4. That Article II (Water and Sewer Connections and Service Generally) of <br />Chapter 38 (Water, Sewers and Sewage Disposal) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) is amended by deleting Section 38 -48(b) as shown below for the purpose <br />of eliminating the charges for establishing or transferring a residential water service <br />account. Except as expressly shown in this ordinance, Article II of Chapter 38 is not <br />otherwise amended. <br />Sec. 38 -48. — Application for water service.; f----- --r establishing or transfeerrinng, <br />(Any person desiring to secure water service shall file a signed application <br />therefor at the office of the department of public utilities on the prescribed <br />form, stating the location and character of the premises for which service is <br />desired. <br />5. That Appendix A to the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is <br />amended as shown on Exhibit A for the purpose of eliminating the charges for establishing <br />or transferring a residential water services account in accordance with Section 4 of this <br />ordinance. <br />6. That Article III (Water Service Charges) of Chapter 38 (Water, Sewers and <br />Sewage Disposal) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is amended by <br />modifying Section 38 -86 as shown below for the purpose of modifying the terms for water <br />service to commercial tenants where the owner has not contracted for the service. Except <br />as expressly shown in this ordinance, Article III of Chapter 38 is not otherwise amended. <br />Sec. 38 -86. Deposit to assure payment. <br />
