AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DIGITAL LITERACY WORKSHOP <br />INCENTIVE AT&T PHASE II GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,000 FROM <br />THE PUBLIC LIBRARY ASSOCIATION AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2024 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF LIBRARIES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive AT&T <br />Phase II grant in the amount of $6,000 from the Public Library Association and <br />appropriates said amount in the FY 2024 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Libraries for Digital <br />Literacy Workshop programming and incentives. <br />That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2024 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $6,000. <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 10, 2023. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
