W�-64 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A REIMBURSEMENT GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $23,067.40 FROM THE VIRGINIA 9 -1 -1 SERVICES BOARD VIA <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT <br />THE TRANSITION TO ESI -NET 9 -1 -1 SERVICE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a reimbursement grant in the amount of $23,067.40 <br />from the Virginia 9 -1 -1 Services Board via the Virginia Department of Emergency <br />Management and appropriates said amount in the FY 2023 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the grant funds shall be used by the Department of Information <br />Technology to support the transition to ESlnet 9 -1 -1 Service. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $23,067.40. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 9, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
