IN <br />:' 55 <br />* s <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FOUR -FOR -LIFE FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $78,791.44 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, OFFICE <br />OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Four -for -Life funding in the amount of S78,791.44 <br />from the Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services and appropriates <br />said amount in the FY 2023 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services. <br />That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $78,791.44. <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 12, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
