AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA 9 -1 -1 SERVICES <br />BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2023 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS UNIT TRAINING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Public Safety Answering Point grant in the <br />amount of $3,000 from the Virginia 9 -1 -1 Services Board and appropriates said sum in <br />the FY 2023 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used for emergency communications unit training. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $3,000. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 12, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
