AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $310,083 FROM THE FUND BALANCE OF <br />THE GENERAL FUND TO THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT CATEGORY OF <br />THE FY 2023 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />COMPLETING A PROCUREMENT DISPARITY STUDY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates $310,083 from the Fund Balance of the General Fund <br />to the General Government Category of the FY 2023 General Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used to complete a Procurement Disparity Study. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the General Government <br />Category of the FY 2023 General Fund Budget are increased by $310,083. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 22, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
