x. 20 fi77 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT FUNDING IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $27,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICES <br />FOR INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH AN INTELLECTUAL AND /OR <br />DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Residential Support Funding in the amount of <br />$27,000 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services <br />and appropriates said amount in the FY 2023 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide support and services for individuals diagnosed with an intellectual <br />and/or developmental disability. <br />3. That no additional local funding is required. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund Budget are increased by $27,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
