4,,V,2022-76 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING MENTAL HEALTH GENERAL FUNDS IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $222,589 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Mental Health General Funds in the amount of <br />$222,589 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental <br />Services and appropriates said amount in the FY 2023 Behavioral Healthcare Service <br />Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide mental health services, including through the Crisis Intervention <br />Team Assessment Center. <br />That no additional local funding is required. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund Budget are increased by $222,589. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
