MA KLQ�� 124 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN OPIOID RESPONSE PREVENTION <br />AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2021 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS TO ADDRESS OPIOID MISUSE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an Opioid Response Prevention award in the <br />amount of $35,000 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and <br />Developmental Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to address opioid misuse. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $35,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on November 24, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
